This begs the question - is there anything an employer can do to make sure that if he settles a dispute with the employee, all claims, including statutory claims, will be extinguished. It&#039;s clear that the general release doesn&#039;t &quot;cut it.&quot; But will a specific release, waiving statutory labor code claims do it? Will it even be considered valid and enforceable? I guess we shall live and see.</description>
